1. Remove plate.
2. Turn the release valve counterclockwise.
3. Move the lever several times.
4. Gently unscrew the oil tank cap to vent the tank.
5. Replace the plate.
6. Turn the release valve clockwise.
CAUTION: The jack must not be loaded during venting!
