USING THE SAFETY SYSTEM
1st step: calibration
TO BE DONE BEFORE STARTING THE PRUNING SHEARS IN THE SELECTED
WORKING CONFIGURATION
(see table of the different possible confi gurations depending on the fi eld of
application)
DO NOT CALIBRATE THE SYSTEM USING YOUR WET HAND OR WITH WET
GLOVES.
DO NOT CHANGE YOUR CONFIGURATION AFTER CALIBRATION HAS BEEN
DONE
WHEN THE UNIT IS IN OPERATION, UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHOULD
YOU TEST THE SYSTEM OR MOVE YOUR HANDS CLOSE TO THE CUTTING
HEAD.
NEVER TEST THE SYSTEM BY TRYING TO CUT THE FINGER(S) OF A GLOVE:
YOU MAY DAMAGE A PERFECTLY GOOD GLOVE.
CHECK THE CLEANLINESS OF YOUR CUTTING HEAD. TOO MUCH DIRT CAN
ALTER BOTH THE CONDUCTIVITY AND THE CORRECT OPERATION OF THE
SAFETY SYSTEM.

After connecting and switching on your pruning
shears, make sure the blade is closed, then press
and hold the trigger, the bar graph will turn off and
the ON/OFF status LED will turn red.
