Opening the shade
Please note: Make sure that the sun
shade is adequately supported; that is,
that the corresponding sun shade base
is used (see "Technical data").
1. Remove the hook and loop strip and,
if necessary, protective sleeve.
2. Insert the crank 8 in the crank casing 9
in the slider 10 (see Figure F).
3. Open the shade roof slightly by hand
(see Figure G).
4. Turn the crank 8 clockwise and com-
pletely deploy the shade roof. At the
same time, push the locking mecha-
nism 11 of the slider 10 and push the
slider 10 up (see Figure I and H).
5. Let go of the locking mechanism 11. In
the process, make sure that the slid-
er 10 locks into one of the holes 12 in
the shade pole 7 (see Figure J).
Rotating the shade
1. Run the crank 8 through the hole 13 in
the shade pole holder 4 and into the
crank casing (see Figure K).
2. Turn the crank 8 until you have
reached the desired position (see Fig-
ure L).
Tilting the shade roof
• To adjust the tilt of the shade roof,
push the locking mechanism 11 of the
slider 10 and move the slider 10 up or
down. Let the slider 10 lock into one
of the 6 holes 12 in the shade pole so
that it is in the desired position (see
