AUTOMATIC POWER-OFF

To extend the battery life, no automatic shutdown function is set for this instrument. If no operation or function change occurs within
15 minutes, the device will automatically disconnect the power supply. Press the „SEL" button again to wake up the device and enter
the operating status again.

BATTERY REPLACEMENT

To avoid electric shock, disconnect the cables before opening the battery cover and do not connect any
measured circuit or input signal. Only batteries of the same type or electrical specification may be used for
replacement.
Before opening the back cover, make sure that the wires are not connected to the device. If the symbol „
appears, the battery needs to be replaced and follow the following steps:
1. Disconnect the test circuit and set the function range switch to „OFF" while removing the wires from the input socket
2. Loosen the battery cover screws and remove the battery cover.
3. Remove the old batteries and replace them with two AAA 1.5 V SIZE batteries.
4. Place the battery cover and tighten the screws.
