C/ Setting speeds
The speed control is used to choose between the 4 speed levels and
to switch off the blender, level "0".
• Start blending at minimum speed "1".
• Then, raise the speed depending on whether the food you wish to
blend needs more or less speed.
• The blender switches off if the speed control is set at level "0.
• The blender has a pulse function. It is a short operating function
at maximum power. When this function is used, maximum speed is
reached immediately.
• Use the pulse function if you wish to do some intense blending for a
short period. For example, to make froth or crush ice (see "Crushing
ice cubes").
To enable this function:
• Press the button continuously and keep it in this position as long as
you wish the operation to last. Only use this function intermittently and
never exceed the maximum operating time.
• Release the button to stop the blending process.
D/ Use of the blender
• Clean all parts of the blender before first use, as indicated in
"Cleaning".
• Take into account the level marks. Fill the blender jug at least up to
the minimum mark (300 ml) and do not exceed the "MAX" mark (1,500 ml).
• Do not turn on the blender without any product in it.
• Adhere to the maximum operating time of 2 minutes and 20 minutes
down time in order to avoid overheating the appliance.
• Prolonged operation can overheat the motor. Let the blender cool to
room temperature before using it again.
• Before switching on the blender, make sure that there is no cutlery or
similar in the blender jug.
• Do not place large pieces of food in the jug.
If using frozen fruit, make sure it is cut into small pieces.
• Do not blend dried fruit with shells or seeds.
• Always remove the stems of the ingredients before you start
blending.
• Do not put any meat in the blender.
