SHOWER STOOL AND CHAIR
Description/purpose
Shower stool (W1610) / Shower chair (W1600).
The shower stool and chair provide support when washing,
especially in the shower.
Main components
Tubes: aluminum

Seat, backrest: polyethylene
Indications
Post-operative and post-traumatic support.
Muscle weakness, neuromuscular disorders, stability
problems, impaired balance, arthritis of the lower limbs.
Degenerative conditions of the lower limbs.
Contraindications
Not suitable for patients weighing > 100 kg.
Do not use in the event of known allergy to any of the
components.
Do not use in the event of severe perceptual function deficit
or severe balance disorders.

It is recommended that a healthcare professional assembles
and adjusts the device and supervises the first use.
Follow the advice of the healthcare professional who
prescribed or supplied the product and consult them in case
of doubt.
Do not use the product for any purpose other than its
intended use: risk of injury or damage to equipment.
All four feet must always be in contact with the floor and the
floor must be level.

Take care to sit in the middle of the seat.

Instructions for use
Assembling the stool:
The shower stool consists of the following components:

Check that all the parts are present.
Place the seat upside down on a table and attach the legs with
the five screws supplied, using a cross-head screwdriver.
Assembling the chair:
The shower chair consists of the following components:

9 screws of different lengths with washers: 4 of 62 mm

4 of 46 mm
and 1 of 40 mm
Check that all the parts are present.
Use the 62 mm screws to attach the legs to the backrest
tubes using a cross-head screwdriver. The 40 mm screw is
positioned in the middle.
The 46 mm screws attach the backrest to the tubes.
Adjusting the height
Press the push-button while pulling the tube in order
to adjust the height.
Check that the push-button is properly engaged in the hole
corresponding to the desired setting.
Make sure that all four feet are adjusted to the same height.
Maintenance and care
Maintenance
If any part of the product becomes detached, loose
or visibly damaged, contact a specialized dealer
or healthcare professional.
If necessary, replacement parts and original accessories
are available from your Thuasne product dealer.
Care
Clean regularly with a mild, non-abrasive detergent.
Dry with a soft cloth.
In an institution, follow the recommendations of the hygiene
manager.
Storage
Do not expose the product to extreme temperatures.
Disposal
Dispose of in accordance with local regulations.
