• Never charge or discharge near flammable materials.
Doing so could result in fire.
• If electrolytes leak from the battery and comes into
contact with skin or clothing, immediately rinse with
water. Battery fluids may cause skin irritation.
• Discharged batteries may cause fire. Tape the
terminals to insulate, before disposing of the battery.
• If the battery terminals are dirty, clean them with
a dry cloth before installation. A bad connection
may prevent the body worn camera from functioning
normally, or the battery from charging.
• Store the battery at room temperature, charged to
about 40–60% of its full capacity. If you are storing
the battery for more than 3 months, charge it to 3.90
V every 3 months. If you are storing the battery for a
year or longer, discharge and charge the battery again.

Soft aluminum packing foil

Never strike the battery with any sharp object. The
soft aluminum packing foil is easily damaged by
objects with sharp edges, such as Ni-tabs and needles.
• Never strike a cell with any sharp object.
• Trim your nails or wear gloves before handling a cell.
• Clean the worktable to make sure it's free from any
sharp particles or objects.
WARNING
• Temperatures over 100°C (212°F) can damage the
sealed edge.
• Bending or folding the sealed edge can cause damage
to it.
