Before proceeding with squeezing, make sure appliance is proper-
ly assembled and the container is not damaged and properly posi-
tioned.
Inserting of hard kernels/stones (e.g. cherries, apricots, peaches, ol-
ives, dates, etc.) into appliance may seriously damage it. Seeds of
watermelons, apples or pears do not damage appliance. It is recom-
mended to remove seeds from citrus fruit, as lemons and oranges,
that do not damage appliance but may modify the taste of the juice.
Do not insert ice or frozen fruit or vegetables to prevent the appli-
ance from damaging.

TIPS
•
Compared to traditional juicers, slow juicers produce a higher-quality
juice and are also excellent for squeezing leafy vegetable.
•
Cut vegetables and fruit into small pieces having suitable size to be put
into the hopper chute.
•
Other fruits or vegetables can be put into the hole on the fl ipper (8).
•
Apples or other fruit having a diameter smaller than 78 mm can be
placed directly on the fl ipper. Rotate to insert them into the hopper
Fig. H.
•
Carrots, beets and fi brous vegetable may be very hard and diffi cult to
squeeze. Cut them into small pieces or into 1 cm wide strips before in-
serting them into hopper, to avoid stressing the appliance too much.
•
Do not insert too many of these foods at a time, but leave the appliance
squeeze few vegetables, one at a time.
In case of appliance jamming owing to an excessive amount of food
introduced, change the rotation direction of the squeezing screw (6)
using the switch (10) by pressing it downwards to "REV" position. If
this procedure is not successful, switch the appliance off by rotat-
ing the switch to "OFF" position. Disconnect the appliance electrical
plug from the mains outlet and proceed with disassembly of attach-
