When replacing or refilling the citric acid pack, do not overtighten or forget to tighten the cap nut. Check for leakage after
tightening the nut.
The concentration of citric acid solution must not exceed 40%. Use citric acid hydrate approved as a food additive.

Cap Nut
Remove the cap nut, pour 1250 ml [KM-40/60/80C(-HC)] or 2500 ml [KM-
130C, KM-140C-HC] of 40% citric acid solution into the pack and tighten the
cap nut before connecting the cleaning pack assy (No. 3) to machine side.
(For replacement, remove the cap nut from the old pack and tighten the nut
to the new pack.)
* Ask qualified personnel about the 40% citric acid solution or purchase the
solution at home center.
When making the solution by yourself, stir 580 g [KM-40/60/80C(-HC)]
or 1160 g [KM-130C, KM-140C-HC] of citric acid hydrate commercially
available as a food additive into 870 ml [KM-40/60/80C(-HC)] or 1740 ml
[KM-130C, KM-140C-HC] of warm water to thoroughly dissolve it and pour
the solution in the pack.
NOTICE
Step 7
While putting the parts assembled in Step 6 into the
unit front, use the bushing (No. 10) to protect the
tube taken out from the front in Step 5 and set it in
the sheet metal hole.
Then, use the three T2 truss head tapping screws
(No. 2) to fix the tube to the base (2 points) and the
top (1 point).
Step 8
Insert the base - cleaning (No. 1) into the base lug
and secure it to the base using the two T2 truss
head tapping screws (No. 2).
