12 Removal and disposal

You can dispose of the filter tank packaging materials separately in their respective household
waste bin.

12.1 Removal

Before starting removal:
•
Disconnect the system from the mains
•
Depressurise the system
•
Continue with chapter 7.4: "Storing the filter system over winter"
•
Then dismantle all the modules and components, taking applicable local environmental
regulations into consideration.

12.2 Disposal

The dismantled components are to be recycled after being disassembled properly:
•
Separate packaging and recycling
•
Scrap metal material residue
•
Break up the filter tank (GRP) and dispose of with solid waste

Removal and disposal may only be carried out by trained and approved
specialists.
CAUTION
Ensure your own safety during removal.
Wear safety equipment (e.g. safety gloves, boots and goggles)! Stainless steel
edges may be sharp after disassembly.
