We wish to thank you for your confidence in us, and for purchasing one of our pieces of
furniture from the Childwood Collection. You have chosen a piece of furniture from the
Childwood Collection, furniture made from solid wood of the highest quality. This piece of
furniture is unique of its kind. Since each tree is different, the colour and wood structure
give your piece an original character.
You will also notice that solid wood furniture can change slightly in its appearance after a
while: sunlight can alter the colour, while fluctuations in atmospheric humidity can affect
the surface treatment. However, this does not affect the value, functionality or service
life of the furniture. Indeed, you have opted for a natural piece of furniture made of solid
wood which "lives and works," with an ever constant value.
You appreciate natural products, but not at the cost of nature. We can also reassure you
in this respect. The manufacturers of Childwood furniture do not use trees from protected
forests. All trees used for our collection are specifically planted for production. Moreover,
all paint and varnish is non-toxic, and of course we do not use child labour at any stage
of the manufacturing process. Use a soft cloth to maintain the furniture. If minor damage
appears we advise using beeswax (but only in limited amounts). Make sure to install the
furniture on a level surface, in order to prevent doors and drawers from jamming. If you
wish to move a piece of furniture, first empty it so that it can be lifted (never push furniture
along the floor). Avoid dry atmospheres as well as heat sources (e.g. radiators).
Our furniture is supplied in kit form, so please follow the assembly instructions carefully.
As you can see, you have made the right choice!

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE RECOMMENDATION
• Clean your wardrobe by wiping with a damp cloth.
• Do not use corrosive products.
