Do not immerse the motor unit in water nor rinse it under the tap.

Check if the voltage indicated on the bottom of the appliance corresponds to the local mains

preparing for use

Clean all detachable parts before you use the appliance for the first time (see chapter
'Cleaning').

Make sure the appliance is assembled properly (see chapter 'General description') before you
put the plug in the wall socket.

Remove the dust cover from the appliance (Fig. 3).

Wind excess cord round the base of the appliance (Fig. 4).

Put the plug in the wall socket.
