Cordless Iron Use instructions
Steam shot
The steam shot is used to remove the most stubborn creases.
Set the thermostat knob to the position "●●" or "●●●".
Set the steam setting button to the maximum position (two)
Press the steam shot button.
Note: to avoid water leaking from the plate, do not hold the steam shot button for more than 5 seconds
continuously.
Dry ironing
The steam iron can also be used dry with or without water in the water tank. However, it would be better to avoid
filling the water tank while ironing.
Set the steam control button to the minimum position (zero).
Set the temperature control to the most suitable temperature for the fabric to be ironed.
Self clean (auto-cleaning)
Fill half of the water tank.
Set the temperature control to the maximum position and the steam setting button to the minimum position.
Plug the power cord into the wall socket.
Let the iron warm up until the light switches off.
Holding the iron in a horizontal position above the sink, place the steam selector in the maximum position, press
5 times the "self clean" button.
The boiling water, the steam and the impurities will be expelled from the holes in the plate.
Unplug the power cord from the power outlet.
Wait until the iron is cold before storing it.
Anti-calc system
A special resin filter inside the water tank softens the water and prevents limescale build-up in the plate. The
resin filter is permanent and does not require replacement.
Note:Do not use chemical additives, scented substances or descaling agents. Failure to comply with the
above mentioned regulations will make a loss of the warranty.
Anti-drop system
With the anti-drop system, even the most delicate fabrics can be ironed perfectly and it is recommended to
always iron at low temperatures.
The plate can cool down to the point where no more steam will come out, but drops of boiling water may come
out and may leave marks or stains. In this case, the anti-drip system is activated automatically to prevent vapo-
rization, so you can iron the most delicate fabrics without risking to damage or stain them.
Cord ironing
1. Set the lock / unlock selector to position 3.
2. Grip the iron with the power base and start ironing.
3. At the end of ironing, reposition the iron on the base and set the lock / unlock selector to position 2.
Cordless ironing
1. Set the lock / unlock selector to position 1.
2. Grip the iron without the supply base and start ironing.
3. Reposition the iron on the base when you are not using it.
4. At the end of ironing, reposition the iron on the base and set the lock / unlock selector to position 2.
Storage
Unplug the power cord from the power outlet, empty the water tank (do it after each use) and allow the iron to
cool down completely.
Set the lock / unlock selector to position 2.
