CAUTION:
Do not use the appliance near bathtubs, washbasins and
other containers filled with water. If you use the appliance
in the bathroom, be sure to switch it off and unplug it
immediately after use, as the proximity of water and
the appliance's contact with water is very dangerous,
even when the appliance is turned off. Do not touch the
appliance with wet hands and do not handle it if you have
wet feet or if you are barefoot.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
The appliance is only intended for the styling of human hair. Do not use for wigs and animal hair.
Use only on dry and clean hair.
1. Remove the water container from the device. Remove the absorption stick from the
container. Fill the container with water. Return the absorption stick to the container. Re-
install the water container.
2. Plug in the device.
3. Press and hold the On/Off button for 2 seconds to switch on the device.
4. Use the + and - buttons to set the desired temperature. The device heats up in a few seconds.
5. Press and hold the + button for 2 seconds to activate the Steam function. The LED indicator
of the Steam function will light up. The hair straightener will start steaming as soon as you
press the iron plates together.
6. Style your hair one strand at a time.
7. When finished, press and hold the On/Off button for 2 seconds to switch the device off and
then unplug it from the power outlet. Pour out water from the water container.

Automatic shutdown function
This safety feature automatically switches off the device if no button is pressed for 60 minutes.
Lockable hinge
Lock - Press the iron plates together and push the hinge lock/unlock button away from the hair
straightener. Unlock - Push the hinge lock/unlock button towards the hair straightener. Do not
heat the device in the locked position.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

CAUTION!
Before each cleaning of the appliance, unplug the power cord from the electrical outlet! Make
sure the appliance has cooled before handling it! To clean the surface of the appliance, use only
a damp cloth, no detergents or hard objects, as they can damage the surface of the appliance!
Never clean the appliance under running water, do not rinse it or immerse it in water!
SERVICE
Extensive maintenance or repair, which requires access to internal parts of the product, has to be
performed by a qualified service centre.
