 Do not use the Step Stool as a footbridge.
 Make sure the work area is clear of any bare live electrical conductors.
 Observe regular poses.
 Prevent damage to the Step Stool during transport, e.g. by tying it down, and ensure that it is
positioned appropriately to prevent damage.
 Do not use the Step Stool if it is soiled, e.g. with wet paint, mud, oil or snow.
 Do not use the Step Stool outdoors in bad weather: strong wind and or rain/snow.
 When positioning, take into account the risk of collision with the Step Stool, e.g. with pedestrians,
vehicles or doors.
 Secure doors (except emergency exits) and windows in the working area if possible.
 Warning: Electrical hazard. Identify any electrical hazards on the job site, such as overhead lines or
other exposed electrical equipment and do not use the Step Stool if there is an electrical hazard.
 Use non-conducting Step Stool for work to be carried out using electrical power.
3. MAINTENANCE, STORAGE, REPAIR
 Check the general condition of the product before each use and more particularly the safety devices
(condition of the parts and their geometry), in case parts are to be replaced, use only EDMA
components.
 Maintenance and repair work should only be carried out by a competent person. All repairs are the
responsibility of the operator and are carried out at his own risk. EDMA does not accept any liability
for damage resulting from improper repair. If necessary, EDMA can be called in to repair your Step
Stool.
 After each repair work, the Step Stool should be cleaned with a clean cloth.
 The Step Stool should be stored away from the weather, in a dry place and away from work that could
damage the product.
 This product should be checked periodically and the results of these checks should be recorded.
4. DISMANTLING, DISPOSAL
 Follow the safety instructions.
 Dispose of the device and its components in an environmentally friendly manner.
