LOCATION OF CABIN FILTER: Under the dash behind the glove box on the passenger side of the vehicle.

you want to install a cabin filter, you can add the filter by following these directions. You do not need
to buy any additional parts to add a cabin filter to your vehicle.
1. Sit in the passenger side seat and open the glove box. Look inside the glove box and you will see two pins. Use a Standard
screwdriver to pry these pins out part of the way. They do not need to be completely removed. (Fig 1)
2. Now open the glove box and slide the glove box to the left out easily. If you cannot, you may need to pull the pins out a bit
further.
3. You should now be able to pull the glove box assembly straight out of the dash and set it aside. (Fig 2) (Before setting the
assembly aside it may be necessary to disconnect the electrical connector at the top of the glove box.)
4. Remove the four screws along the top edge of the glove box frame. (Fig 3) Remove the latch strike by pulling it down. (Fig 4)
5. Remove the glove box frame by pulling it out at the top.
6. Look inside the void where the glove box assembly was and locate the cabin filter cover. Remove the cover by unlatching it at
the lower edge and remove it. (Fig 5)
7. Remove the old filter by pulling it straight outward. (Fig 6)
8. Install the new filter with the air flow arrow indicator pointing down.
9. Reinstall the cabin filter cover.
10. Pick up the glove box frame and snap it back in place. Reinstall the two outer screws on the top edge of the frame.
11. Reposition the latch strike back in place. Align the holes in the plate with the holes in the frame. Reinstall the screws.
12. Reposition the glove box back in place and push the pins all the way back in and close the glove box.
