4.1 SAFETY DISTANCES (MINIMUM DISTANCE)
During the installation of the cooker, the fire regulations and instructions for the
fireplace must be observed. For any related questions, consult the installer of the
fireplace. The minimum clearances to be observed for flammable or heat-sensitive
materials (e.g. furniture, wallpaper, wood panelling) (see diagram below) are:
25 cm from the rear wall
B
15cm from the side wall and
C
80 cm from the radiation area (front side of the product)
Flammable materials and furniture must not be placed at a distance of less than
80 cm from the radiation area (C) at the front.
This distance can be reduced to 40 cm when a protection panel is placed between
the cooker and materials that can burn.
The minimum distances for flammable materials and furniture are indicated on the
product label and must not be exceeded. If the floor on which the cooker is to be
installed is flammable or heat-sensitive, the product must be placed on a floor
protection plate (e.g. marble or glass base).
