· Insert the handlebar 4 into the tool and turn it counterclockwise to remove the
spark plug.
· Check for discoloration and remove the carbon. The porcelain insulator around the
center electrode of spark plug should be a medium-to-light tan color.
· Check the spark plug type and gap.
Standard Spark Plug:
TORCH-A5RTC/E6TC/E6RTC
Spark Plug Gap:
1kW: 0.6 - 0.8mm
2kW: 0,6 - 0,7mm
TIP: The spark plug gap should be measured with a wire thickness gauge and, If necessary, adjusted to specification.
· Install the spark plug.
Spark Plug Torque: 12.5 N*m (1.25kgf*m, 9 lbf*ft)
TIP: If a torque wrench is not available when installing a spark plug, a good estimate of the correct torque is 1/4-1/2 turn
past finger tight. However, the spark plug should be tightened to the specified torque as soon as possible
· Install the spark plug cap and spark plug cover.
