2. HOW TO USE

INSERTING THE BATTERIES

1. Remove the protective foil from the batteries before inserting them into the scale.
2. Open the battery compartment on the back.
3. Insert 2xAAA batteries. Please ensure that the polarity is correct.
4. Close the battery compartment again.
5. If the device is not going to be used for a prolonged period of time, please take the
batteries out in order to prevent the leakage of battery acid.
6. If the message "LO" appears on the display, replace the batteries.
CAUTION: different battery types or new and used batteries must not be used together.
