Proper disposal of waste electrical and electronic equipment ("waste equipment"), batteries and

Battery Disposal Notice:
Disposal Notice for Batteries / Notice under the Battery Law (BattG)
Since we sell equipment containing button cell and rechargeable batteries, under the Battery Law
(BattG) we are obliged to inform you:
Easily removable waste batteries and waste rechargeable batteries are those which are not enclosed
by the waste electrical equipment; please remove from the devices prior to returning. Please dispose
as stated.
Batteries – including button cells and rechargeable batteries must not be disposed with household
waste; you are legally obligated to return used batteries and rechargeable batteries. Waste batteries
may contain harmful substances which may impact the environment and your health if not properly
stored or disposed of. Batteries further contain important raw materials such as iron, zinc and
manganese or nickel, and are recycled. You may return the batteries to us or a local facility (e.g. retail
shops or municipal collection points) free of charge. Batteries returned to points of sale are limited to
quantities typical for consumers and those carried by the distributor.
2. Remove the old battery
and install a new battery.
