Symptoms
The pump is not working or there is no
fluid delivery.
The pump begins to operate very fast.
The pump keeps on operating although
the ink outlet is closed.
Air leakage through the air outlet
muffler.
Decrease of the ink delivery.
The pump doesn't lift even without the
pail.
Leackage between the follower plate
adaptor and the pump's tube or bet-
ween the follower plate and the adaptor.

Possible Reasons
No suitable air supply pressure.
Some outlet circuit element is clogged or closed.
Air between the follower plate and the ink.
The drum is empty or the ink level is beneath the
suction tube inlet.
There is a ink leakage in some point of the circuit.
The O-rings of the distributor axle or the bushing
worn or damaged.
The inverter O-rings are worn or damaged.
Dirt in upper valve or foot valve.
Dirt in muffler.
The actuator is not working with proper pressure.
The seals are damaged.

WARNING: to ensure safe operation of this equipment,
review the overpressure valve regulary.
To be sure that overpressure valve (2) and non-return valve (1) are
clean and safe, without any drum in the equipment select raise
position in control box. Pull the ring on the security valve (2), this
should be soft and the air should get out throw the valve exhaust.
Solutions
Increase the air supply pressure.
Clean or open the outlet circuit.
Bleed the air.
Replace the drum.
Verify and tighten or repair.
Replace the axle assembly and/ or the bushing
assembly.
Replace the inverter O-rings.
Dismount and clean, replace if damaged.
Clean or replace the muffler.
Regulate the pressure in the actuator with its
control with a pressure higher than 2 bar.
Replace the seals from the follower plate
assembly.
