POWERSOCKET 907
COMMISSIONING
Connect the supplied power cable to the Oehlbach Powersocket
907 and insert the power plug into a wall socket. Then the bar
can be activated with the POWER switch.
The Oehlbach Powersocket 907 offers 8 sockets, of which 4
can be switched on separately with the GROUP-2 switch. The 4
sockets of the GROUP-2 are only supplied with power when the
POWER switch is also switched on.
Each group consists of four sockets, with two unfiltered „analog"
sockets and two filtered „digital" sockets per group.
CONNECTING DIGITAL DEVICES
Digital terminal devices can be extremely sensitive to interfe-
rence pulses and can generate high-frequency interference sig-
nals themselves. Therefore, connect all digital devices (e.g. DVD/
BluRay player, hard disk recorder, PC, ...) to the digital sockets
of the power strip. These sockets are black. Devices connected
to these sockets are protected by an efficient filter from all in-
terference pulses scattering through the mains. This circuit also
eliminates interference caused by the connected devices them-
selves in the power strip.
CONNECTING ANALOG DEVICES
Connect all analog devices such as tuners, turntables, tape
decks, or power amplifiers to the grey „analog" outlets. Via these
sockets, the Powersocket 907 provides unfiltered power for all
analog devices, thus reliably maintaining enough reserves for a
permanently stable power supply at all times, even when large
amounts of power are required.
