8.4 Exchanging the stripping blade

Danger of injury from sharp blades!
► Use tweezers to change the blades.
► Dispose of the removed blade in a sepa-
rate container.
The entire blade set must be replaced each time
the blades are changed.
Required tool: hexagon socket 2.5 mm
Only for setter.
► Remove the transport unit.
► Switch on the machine.
► Log in as the setter.
► Open the Service/Blade mode menu.
► Tap Stripping.
► Tap Position
The machine will move to the blade exchange position.
► Switch off the machine and disconnect the mains plug.
► Remove the mounting screws for the two pairs of
blades, see Figure 8.1.

► Remove both pairs of blades.

CAUTION
► Place each new pair of blades together so that the an-
gled edges point to the outside, see Figure 8.2.

► Insert each pair of blades into the respective mount.
► Screw the respective mounting screw back in.
► Switch on the machine.
► Log in as the setter.
► Open the Service/Blade mode menu.
► Tap Stripping.
► Tap Reference.
The machine will move to the start position.
► To exit the menu, tap the home button or the double ar-
row.
8.5 Exchanging the ferrule separating blade
Danger of injury from sharp blades!
► Use tweezers to change the blades.
► Dispose of the removed blade in a sepa-
rate container.
Required tool: hexagon sockets 2.0 mm and 2.5 mm
Only for setter.
► Remove the transport unit.
► Switch on the machine.
► Log in as the setter.
► Open the Service/Blade mode menu.
► Tap Cutting.
► Tap Position
The machine will move to the blade exchange position.
