Battery Information
Your device is powered by a rechargeable battery. The full
performance of a new battery is achieved only after two
or three complete charge and discharge cycles. Do not
leave a fully charged battery connected to a charger, since
overcharging may shorten its lifetime and increase the risk of
overheating. Please dispose of batteries according to local
regulations and recycle where possible. Do not dispose as
household waste. When batteries have reached "end of life"
these should be disposed of in a battery bucket, which can be
found at local supermarkets and recycling centres.
• Charge the battery pack fully before first use.
• Only charge the battery pack whilst inserted into the Xbox
controller.
• If the Battery Pack is completely run down, charge it for at
least 20 minutes before using your Xbox controller.
,
• Only charge using the Xbox USB port. Do not charge via an
alternative USB port.
Care & Maintenance
Your device is a product of superior design and craftsmanship
and should be treated with care. The suggestions below will
help you to protect your warranty coverage:
• Keep your device out of the reach of small children.
• Keep the device dry. Precipitation, humidity and all types
of liquid or moisture can contain minerals that will corrode
electronic circuits. If your device does get wet, allow it to dry
completely.
• Do not use or store the device in dusty, dirty areas as moving
parts and electronic components of your device can be
damaged.
• Do not use or store the device in hot areas. High
temperatures can shorten the life of electronic devices,
damage batteries and warp or melt certain plastics.
• Do not use or store the device in cold areas. When the device
returns to its normal temperature, moisture can form inside
the device and damage electronic circuit boards.
• Do not short circuit the battery.
• Whilst charging the batteries do not leave on a soft surface,
for example bedding or carpet. Always charge and store on
a hard surface as this will provide good air circulation and
reduce the risk of batteries overheating.
• Do not touch the battery pack terminals.
• Do not short circuit.
• Do not dispose of the battery pack in fire or leave near a heat
source such as a radiator.
