IMPORTANT PRECAUTIONS

When using electrical equipment, basic safety precautions must be followed, including the
following:
-
Read all the instructions before using the appliance.
-
Do not put electrical appliances inside the coolbox.
-
In order to avoid electric shock, do not spill any liquid onto the coolbox while it is
operating and avoid exposing it to rain. Do not remove the plug with wet hands.
-
The appliance must not be adjusted, dismantled or repaired by people who are not
qualified to do so!
-
Keep the coolbox away from moisture and do not clean it with water, as to do so could
cause electric shock or short circuiting.
Do not pull on the cable to unplug the appliance from the mains power supply. Hold
the plug when unplugging the appliance, as pulling the power cable can cause electric
shocks.
-
Please unplug the appliance from the mains supply when not using it. Continuous
connection to the power supply can cause the insulation to deteriorate and could
therefore cause electric shock or fire.
-
Avoid exposing the appliance to direct sunlight.
-
Avoid damp air.
-
It is inadvisable to sit on the appliance. The coolbox has not been designed for
unsupervised use by children under the age of 8. Children must be supervised to
ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
-
In order to avoid discolouration, do not clean the appliance with alcohol or abrasive
detergents.
-
Do not directly clean the appliance with water.
-
The power cable must not be subjected to heavy weights. It must not be used if it is
folded or broken, as to do so could cause electric shocks or fire.
-
Heavy blows to the coolbox must be avoided as these could damage it, destroying the
internal components and electronic circuitry.
-
The coolbox must be well ventilated. Do not obstruct the vents. Do not operate the
appliance in a closed compartment such as the boot of a car.
-
When the appliance is used in a hot or humid atmosphere condensation will appear on
the inside of the coolbox. This does not mean the appliance is faulty. Clean with a dry
cloth.
-
The coolbox may be used at campsites.
-
If the power cable is damaged, for reasons of safety it must be replaced by the
manufacturer, his authorised technical dealer or by a qualified engineer.
-
This appliance must not be used by children or by other people without assistance if
their physical, mental or sensory state prevents them using it safely. Children must be
supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
