3. X32 Setup

MADI Mode selects either AES10-1991/56-channel or
AES10-2003/64-channel operation
•
MADI Chan In selects the start channel for the block of
32-ch that will be available for input routing: MADI ch 01,
ch 09, ch 17, ch 25, ch 33 (in 64 channel mode)

MADI Chan Out selects the start channel for the block
of 32-ch that will be replaced in the MADI output stream:
MADI ch 01, ch 09, ch 17, ch 25, ch 33 (in 64 channel mode)

MADI Source selection boxes for MADI connection – fiber-
optic and/or coaxial. Select both for redundant use of coaxial
and fiber-optic connections.
X-MADI card can be selected as the clock source on the
X32 Setup/config page. In that case, the X32 will be slaved
to the MADI clock received on BNC input or fiber-optic
inputs. Note that this may require rebooting the console
if the internal and external clock rates are different
(i.e. 44.1/48 kHz).
