Charging conditions
Be sure to charge the battery with its original charger, rather than those in other brands or models.
Please charge the battery in a well-ventilated place with an ambient temperature of 0℃~40℃, without any flammable substances around.
As instructed in charging, the battery cannot be charged for more than 12 hours, since long hours of charging will affect the battery life and
cause hidden dangers.
The battery power rises faster in the early stage of charging and slower later, which is normal as this is a program set for charging safety.
It is strictly forbidden to charge the battery outdoors in bad weather.
If the battery compartment is found to be very hot (higher than 55℃) during charging, it means that the battery pack is faulty. Under this
circumstance, please cut off the power supply immediately and send the battery to the designated maintenance station for overhaul. It is
normal for the charger to be slightly hot (not higher than 60℃) during charging.
Storage conditions
The electric bicycle could be left for two months at most after the battery is fully charged. It is normal for the power drop displayed on
the dashboard since the power will be consumed slowly as the electric bicycle works.
When not in use for a long time (more than one month), please be sure to remove the battery from the bicycle and charge it by 50%
(charge for 1.5-2 hours after fully discharged), and then place it in a cool and dry room (with an optimum temperature of 5℃~25℃) for
storage. In addition, please recharge it once for about 3 hours every two months.
The battery and its charger should be separated from each other for storage in a clean, dry and well-ventilated place without any
possibility of contact with corrosive substances, and kept away from fire and heat (not less than 2 meters) and flammable substances.
It is the most appropriate to store the battery with 50% power. Irreversible capacity degradation will be caused to the battery in
long-term storage with less than 10% or more than 90% power.
Don't store the battery in places with risks. Dropping may cause uncontrollable damage to the battery and may result in leakage, heat,
smoke, fire or explosion.
When using and storing the electric bicycle and its battery, please avoid them to be immersed in rain, ice, snow, chemical substances,
etc. In addition, don't wash them with water to avoid hidden dangers caused by the moisture in internal electronic components and
circuits.
