8.4. Instructions for Assembly

1. Disconnect the sprayer trigger valve or Jacto AS-94DL lance from the
hose.
2. Connect the hose to the connector of the soil injector;
3. Use the clamp to lock the hose to the connector;
4. Adjust the foot support as required for the application. Loosen the screw
and place the foot support as desired, so tighten it again. The foot support
it will also be used as a depth stop for the application.
8.4.1. Instructions for Use
1. Remove the protective cover;
2. To inject the product into the soil, the injector must be positioned with
the tip against the ground in a vertical position or with an inclination of
approximately 60° to the ground;
3. Step on the foot support until the soil injector pierce the soil and the foot
support touches its surface;
4. Pump to apply the adjusted dosage;
5. Repeat the steps on item 2 and 3.
8.4.2. Use
The dosage lance is is recommended for the application of agrochemicals and liq-
uid fertilizers diluted in water. Used in crops as coffee, banana, vegetables, forest,
and others.
8.4.3. Instructions for After Use
6. At the end of every application, remove the injector tip to drain the prod-
uct residue from inside the injector;
7. Disconnect the hose from the injector and clean it properly;
8. Wash the injector tip to remove residues from the soil and impurities in
the liquid passage holes;
9. Assemble the spring and ball inside the tip;
10. Connect the pointer again;
11. Put the protective cover.

9.2. Instructions for Assembly
1. Connect the trigger valve* to the hose;
2. Connect the anti-growth lance to the trigger valve;
3. Tighten enough to avoid leakage.
*Note: Trigger valve is not included.
9.2.1. Use
The anti-growth lance is recommended for the application of anti-growth product
in tobacco.
10. Warranty
MÁQUINAS AGRÍCOLAS JACTO S.A. warrants the equipment identified in this
manual, and undertakes to repair or replace parts and components which, under
normal use and service, according to the technical recommendations, present
MANUFACTURING OR RAW MATERIAL DEFECTS, complying with the following
rules:
WARRANTY PERIOD:
• 6 (six) months from the date of sale to the original purchaser.
WARRANTY APPLICATION:
• JACTO shall honor this warranty, free of charge, if any part or component shows de-
fect in MATERIAL OR WORKMANSHIP, after final analysis at the factory.
WARRANTY SHALL BE NULL:
• Misuse of the equipment against specifications in the OPERATOR'S MANUAL, over-
work or accidents. Preventive/corrective maintenance performed by unauthorized
people.
• Use of parts and components not supplied by JACTO.
• Modification of the equipment or any characteristic of the original design.
• Use the equipment to spray products that are not for plant protection, fertilization, or
that are not approved by regulatory agencies for applications in backpack sprayers.
WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER:
• Parts which show wear and tear due to use, UNLESS THEY SHOW DEFECTS IN WORK-
MANSHIP, ASSEMBLY OR MATERIAL.
• Damages resulting from accidents.
