INTRODUCTION
Thank you for choosing a Vicair
The Vicair Back Connector is used to attach the
Vicair Multifunctional O2 weelchair back
support cushion to a tension adjustable strap
back. Vicair products provide a high level of skin
protection for wheelchair users with a high risk
of developing pressure injuries.
INDICATIONS
The Vicair Back Connector is used to provide
comfort, stable body support, to improve body-
posture and to help prevent pressure injuries.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
When used as intended, there are no known
contraindications.

PRECAUTIONS AND SAFETY
INSTRUCTIONS
A Vicair wheelchair Back Connector may only
be used as a wheelchair Back Connector. The
use of this product in any other way, is
considered to be misuse. Vicair B.V. cannot be
held responsible for damage caused by misuse,
improper use or negligence. Make sure that you
read and understand this manual completely.
Warning! Vicair recommends to install the
Vicair Back Connector under direct supervision
of a therapist or Assistive Technology
Professional.
Warning! No testing data is currently available
about the safe use of Vicair back support
cushions in motor vehicles. Therefore we do not
encourage using the back support cushion with
the Back Connector in motor vehicles.
Warning! In case of soiling with body fluids, and
when transferring the product to another user,
the product must be disinfected to avoid cross

Warning! Every three months, check the
product for wear. In case of serious damage, do

not continue to use the product. Consult your
Assistive Technology Professional.
Warning! Using the Vicair Back Connector may
affect the static and dynamic behaviour of the
wheelchair. Check and test the balance and
stability of the wheelchair with the aid of your
therapist or Assistive Technology Professional.
