The PowerPack is designed to jumpstart the battery of any vehicle with 12 V starter bat-
tery e.g. cars, mobile homes, boats. The peak current consumption can reach up to 200
A.
Throughout the 12 V socket different appliances like 12 V tools, etc. can be operated up
to current consumption of 5 A.
Caution! Pay attention to the voltage and current consumption of the
equipment being operated in order not to overcharge the PowerPack.
Overcharging may cause the failure of the PowerPack or of the equipment
being operated.
The voltage and current consumption can be found on the nameplate or in the operating
instructions of the equipment being used.
– Der PowerPack is supplied partially charged.
– Fully charge the PowerPack before using it for the first time
(see section "Charging the PowerPack").
– For charging, use the mains charger.
– If not in use for a longer period, the battery of the PowerPack will discharge by itself.
– To avoid destruction of the battery by excessive discharging, the battery must be
recharged every 3 months when not in use.
– The battery of the PowerPack is maintenance-free.
The PowerPack can be charged by means of the 230V mains charger or the 12 V
charging cord.
The charging time is about 18-36 hours with the mains charger.
Caution! Do not leave the mains charger permanently plugged in as this will
overcharge the battery or may damage it.
Charging with the 230 V mains charger (see B 1)
– Connect the cable of the mains charger to the charging socket on the front side of the
PowerPack.
– Plug the mains charger into a 230 V – 50 Hz mains socket.
– The yellow LED (charging) lights up during charging.
