• While the sandwich toaster warms up, prepare the sandwiches to
your liking. We suggest you sweep the outer sides of the bread
slices with a thin layer of butter.
• As soon as the plates reach the ideal temperature, after about 5
minutes, the heating pilot light turns on.
• Open the sandwich toaster and place the sandwiches, carefully
not to burn yourself, in the concavities of the plates (you can put 2
sandwiches at a time).
• Carefully close the sandwich toaster by pressing it slightly until the
locking latch blocks.
• During preparation, the heating pilot light turns off and on, indicating
that the resistors are turned on and off in order to maintain the
correct temperature.
• Open the sandwich toaster 2-3 minutes later to check if the toasts
are already golden.
NOTE: The toasting time needed to obtain golden toasts depends on
the type of bread, the filling and your personal taste.
• When the toasts are ready, remove them carefully to avoid burns.
• Use a plastic or wooden utensil (for example, a spatula) to remove
the toasts from the sandwich toaster. Do not use sharp or abrasive
metal cookware on this appliance, as these may damage the non-
stick coating of the plates.
• Unplug the electric power cord after use and before cleaning or
performing maintenance on the appliance.

CLEANING
• Before cleaning, unplug and wait for the appliance and the plates
to cool down.
• Clean the inside with a damp cloth or towel. Dry the inside with a
dry, soft cloth.
• Clean the outer surface only with a soft, slightly dampened cloth.
• Do not wipe the inside or outside of the appliance with an abrasive
scouring pad or steel wool, as this will damage the coating.
• Never immerse the appliance or the power cord in water or any
other liquid.
NOTE: All daily maintenance operations must be carried out after
disconnecting the appliance from the power supply.
