We are glad that you have chosen McWAVE, the surface-
mounted movement sensor manufactured by Popp.
Functions:
McWAVE is a HF movement sensor. It is fitted with twohigh
performance sensors. If your McWAVE senses a movement
(e.g. a person) within its detection zone and the ambient
brightness is less than the defined threshold, the movement
detector switches the connected load on. After the person has
left the detection zone and after expiry of a time pre-set by
you (10 sec -15 min), the movement detector switches the
load off again.

cooling down)

Range and duration of lighting freely selectable by adjustable
controls.
Providing McWAVE is mounted in a position which allows
free exposure to the weather (e.g. rain on its hood), the unit
will switch automatically in the event of rain or storm into an
adaptive limited-range immunity mode, which ensures
largely error-free operation.
Application and settings examples:
The detection zone can be modified in form and extent to
best suit different installation conditions. Further adjustable
parameters are the dwell time (lighting time for the
connected lighting load) and the twilight threshold which
governs the shutdown of the sensor in response to daylight.
