Connection to the PV inverter
↻ DC cables are ready for use at the inverter.
1 Feed the DC cables through the cable fitting of the input plate in pairs.
2 Option for 2 cable pairs: Open the cover on the DC cable fitting and remove the
required sealing plug.
CAUTION! Risk of fire due to chemical corrosion. Cable lugs must be suitable
for the conductor material and copper busbars used!
WARNING! Risk of short circuit due to incorrect size of the cable lug. Observe
the dimensions when making a selection!
3 Fit the DC cables with a ring cable lug. When crimping, ensure that the ring
cable lug is rotated in accordance with the final installation position.
NOTE: Danger to life due to a surge in voltage. If the clearance is insufficient,
shrink tubing must be used.
4 Guide the shrink tubing over the uninsulated crimping point and a maximum of
over the cable insulation and shrink-fit using manual shrink-fitting equipment.
5 Guide the DC cable pair through the component and provisionally fit the DC
cable pair onto the DC+ and DC busbar of the DC switch using the fastening ele-
ments from the inverter mounting kit. [See figure 4] [} Page 4]
6 Option for 2 cable pairs: Hold the spacer sleeve up against the busbar of the DC
switch on its own and fit it provisionally with the fastening elements from the
mounting kit.
7 Fasten the screws and counternuts tightly onto the DC+ and DC busbar. [
