Portable monitor for body fat &

1. Introduction
Dear Customer:
Thanks for purchasing our digital product AV595, a measuring device of your
body fat and hydration.
The principle of this device is based on the bio-electronic impedance analysis
(BIA), which allows to estimate the body composition and in particular the
body fat, when combined with other factors such as age, gender, body height
and weight.

2.Usage safety rules
The evaluated readings of body fat and water percentages are only a
reference value. The physical outlook of body does not necessarily give
congruent fat or hydration percentages readings, nor the same physically built
persons of same age and sex should give the same readings. They are not
intended for any medical purpose. Please always consult your physician to get
advice for any medication or diet in order to achieve a normal weight level, or
the condition of body fat/hydration percentage that one should achieve.
This body fat/hydration measurement device is not suitable for people of the
following conditions:
- Children under 10 and adults over 80
- People who use or wear pacemakers or other medical transplant with
electronic components. Transplant performance may be jeopardized or
impaired.
- People with symptoms of fever, edema, osteoporosis
- People on dialysis treatment
- People taking cardiovascular medicine

- People with heart pulse rate under 60 beats/minute.
To prevent interferences, do not use the device near equipment with strong
electro-magnetic fields. Always keep a good distance from such equipment
when operating our device, or turn off those equipment before operating.
Should a battery leak, the device may become damaged. Clean the battery
compartment immediately, avoiding contact with your skin.
Leaving the battery in hot or cold places, such as leaving it in a closed car in
summer or winter, will reduce the capacity and lifetime of the battery. Always
try to keep the battery between 15ºC and 25ºC (59ºF and 77ºF). A device with
a hot or cold battery may not work temporarily.
Do not dispose batteries in a fire as they may explode. Batteries may also
explode if damaged.
Don't let children play with the device. Small parts may cause choking hazard.
Please note that you should power off electronic devices or wireless devices
on some specific places which includes hospitals or areas with exploding
potential risk.
Please turn off the device before boarding a plane, and don't use it during
flight.

Preparation
The two 3.0V lithium batteries are already installed into the compartment
underneath the device.
Initial setup
Press the button "ON/SET" to switch on the device. All LCD segments will light
up briefly and prompt to setting mode starting from Memory selection. Pressing
the button "ON/SET" again will take you through the cycle of setting the
different parameters.
