PROBLEMS AND
SOLUTIONS
Problem:
The humidifier does not work.
There is no steam output after over 5 minutes of
operation (check for steam output with a mirror
or similar).
The appliance is very noisy.
Strange smell.
Solution:
Check that the power cable is connected to the
appliance and fully inserted in the appliance power
inlet; check that the power cable plug is correctly
inserted in the mains socket.
Check that the appliance is turned on and the
green light "b" is lit; if it is unlit, press the on/off
switch "a" again.
Check that there is sufficient water in the wa-
ter tank "g" and the water supply circuit of the
heating tank "h" and whether the red low water
light "c" is lit;
Check that the water level float "i" is clean and
moves freely.
Send the appliance to the PiC Service Centre for
inspection.
Remove the scale from the heating tank as indicated
in "CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE".
If this does not resolve the problem, contact the
PiC Service Centre.
Perform the normal cleaning operations indicated
in "CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE" and leave
the water tank "g" to air for 24 hours in a fresh
place with the cap "l" open.
