5. OPERATION

1. Insert the forklift forks into the fork pockets. Fasten the chain to the forklift so that the load
arm is secured against slipping even during abrupt braking.
2. Adjust the length of the support arm by shifting the bolt.
Then re-secure the bolt with the cotter. Only possible for LA-NT .
3. Adjust the height of the support arm by shifting the bolt. Then re-secure the bolt with the
cotter. Only possible for load arm. Always assign 2 people to perform the adjustment.
4. A visual inspection must take place before every use. The load arm must not be used if
damage is detected.
5. Always keep an eye on the behaviour of the load. The operator must ensure that their line
of sight is not impaired. A spotter may need to be assigned if required.
