Electrical Connection

It is recommended to connect the heater to its own
separate circuit.
A disconnecting device with at least 3 mm contact
clearance on each pole (e.g. automatic circuit-
breaker) is to be incorporated in the fixed wiring.
During the start-up of the heater, many times the rated
current will pass through it for a brief period of time,
the line fuse must be of the slow blow type. In
addition, suitable switches or switching devices (e.g.
contacts) must be provided.
Ensure that the mains voltage supplied corresponds
with the voltage specified on the name plate.
The heater must be installed in such a way that
switches or other controls cannot be touched by the
person using the bath or the shower.
This appliance must be earthed
Operation
The radiant heat of the appliance directly warms people
and objects without heating the air in-between.
The recommended mounting angle range lies between
20° and 40° .
Caution! Adjust angle only after appliance has been
allowed to cool down. Hazard of severe burns!
Adjust the desired heating level by pulling the pull cord.
The selected heat level will be displayed in the display
window on the front cover. When the highest heat setting
is selected and the pull cord is pulled again the appliance
is reset to position "0" and is turned off.

Cleaning
Disconnect the heater from the power supply and allow to
cool down before undertaking any cleaning work.
Caution! Do not touch reflector and heating element with
your bare hands.
Wipe the outside of the appliance with a damp cloth and
subsequently wipe it thoroughly dry.
Do not use abrasives or caustic cleaning agents!
Do not use any flammable cleaning agents e.g. petrol or
spirit for cleaning the appliance.
Never immerse the appliance in water! Danger to life!
Dust that may have accumulated inside the heater can be
removed using a brush with long, soft bristles.
Recycling
For electrical products sold within the European
Community. At the end of the electrical products
useful life it should not be disposed of with
household waste. Please recycle where facilities
exist. Check with your local authority or retailer for
recycling advise in your country.
After Sales Service
All repairs must be referred to authorized personnel!
See your local dealer. Any tampering with the appliance
will invalidate the warranty. Repairs carried out improperly
and by unqualified persons may have serious
consequences for the user!
