Never attempt to repair the charger or
battery block yourself. Repairs must
always be carried out by an authorised
dealer - otherwise you risk an accident.
10. Before cleaning or servicing the charger or
battery block, always pull the plug from the
charger socket.
11. Never charge the battery block when the
ambient temperature is below 5 °C or
above 40 °C.
12. The air vents in the charger must never be
blocked.
13. The battery block must not be short-
circuited.
A short-circuit will cause a high current
toflow.Thismayresultinoverheating,
thedangeroffireorexplosionofthe
battery block. This may damage the
battery block or the user may risk an
accident.
Therefore:
•
Do not connect any cables to the poles of
the battery block.
•
Take care that there are no metal objects
(nails, paper clips, coins, etc.) on the
contact surface of the battery block.
•
Do not expose the battery block to water or
rain.
•
Only use the battery block supplied
in combination with this cordless drill/
screwdriver so as to avoid faults and/or
risks to persons.
14. A damaged battery block or one that can
no longer be charged must be disposed
of as special waste. Do not discard it with
household waste.
15. Never throw the battery block onto a fire or
into water. This will risk explosion!
16. When drilling or screwing in walls, floors,
etc., electricity lines can be hit. Hold the
tool at the plastic handle to prevent an
electrical shock. Never hold the tool at the
chuck or another metal part.
17. Turn the drill immediately off after the
screw is fastened. Overloading and
damaging the battery or motor can be
prevented this way. Use the torque to
loosen the fastened screw.

Electrical safety
Always check that the voltage on the
batterypack corresponds to the
voltage on the rating plate. Also check
that your mains voltage corresponds to
the input voltage of the battery
charger.
The battery charger is double
insulated; therefore no earth wire is
required.
Replacing cables or plugs
Immediately throw away old cables or plugs
when they have been replaced by new ones. It
is dangerous to insert the plug of a loose cable
in the wall outlet.
3. MOUNTING ACCESSORIES
Inserting and removing bits

Push the screwdriver bit lightly into the
hexagonal driving shaft (6) of the tool.
4. OPERATION
Always observe the safety instructions
and applicable regulations.
Firmly hold the machine and push the bit with
even pressure into the workpiece. Do not force
the machine. Use only bits that do not yet show
any signs of wear. Worn bits have a negative
effect on the efficiency of the machine.
Angle adjustment

The drill/screwdriver has 2 angle positions.
•
Push the upper part of the drill/screwdriver
down or up to the appropiate angle
position you need.
•
Make sure it is secured in the up or down
position before use.
