Assembly

Note
To be able to move the device manually, the
gear release lever must be in the appropri-
ate position. Refer to the section "Operation
– Pushing the mower".
Setting up the steering column
Note
Only for devices where the steering column
has been folded down for transport.
Press the steering column forwards and out of the
transport position
until it latches into the bottom
position.
Note
The steering column can be set to various
heights. For more on this, please refer to
the section "Operation – Fitting the steering
column".
Installing the steering wheel
Remove cover cap [1] ([A] or [B] depending on
model) from the steering wheel.
Remove screw [2] and the washer [3].
Bring the wheels into a straight position.
Place the steering wheel on the steering shaft.
Put on washer [3] with curved side face up.
Fix the steering wheel using the screw [2].
Insert the cover cap [1] ([A] or [B] depending on
model).
Attaching the seat
Remove the screws and nuts on the seat
holder
.
Fix the seat support to the seat holder
the previously removed screws and nuts.
Place the cable holder of the of the seat contact
switch into the opening of the seat well.
Fold the seat down

Remove the screws [1] and nuts [2] on the dis-
charge opening of the cutter deck

Note
(depending on the model), the transport lock
(safety plate or cable tie) must be removed
automatically.
Putting the battery into operation
DANGER!

Battery acid is corrosive. Immediately
clean all parts of the device splashed by
battery acid.
Do not smoke; keep burning and hot
objects away.
Charge batteries in a well ventilated and
dry room only.
There is a risk of a possible short circuit

place any tools or metal objects on the
battery.

Wear safety goggles and protective
gloves.
Do not allow battery acid to come into
contact with skin.
If battery acid is sprayed in your face or
eyes, wash it off immediately with cold
water and seek medical attention.
If you have swallowed battery acid, drink
a lot of water and seek medical attention.
Store batteries out of the reach of
children.
Never tilt the battery, as battery acid may
run out.
Bring the remaining, unused battery acid
to your dealer or to a waste disposal
company.
