TURNING THE CAMERA ON/OFF
1. Press the Power button to turn the camera on. Press the Power button again to turn the camera off. The camera will
automatically turn itself off after a period of inactivity to save power.
TAKING A PHOTO

Press the Shutter button to take a picture. After the picture has been taken the LCD will display image for a brief second. The
Memory capacity in the top right of screen will decrease as each image is taken.
PLAYBACK - VIEWING IMAGES ON THE CAMERA

To stop viewing images or videos, press the Playback button.
CAMERA SETTINGS - SETTING THE DATE AND TIME
1.
Press the Menu button to open the menu. Press right to bring up the Settings Menu.

The Up and Down buttons may be used to select an item. Press down until Date & Time is highlighted. Press OK to confirm.
3.
Change the Day/Month/Year, Time and Date Format by pressing up and down to change the specific date and pressing left
and right to move you from one selection to the next. Press okay to confirm your Date & Time Settings.
4.
When finished, press the Menu button to close the menu.
PHOTO SETTINGS - SETTING THE DATE STAMP

Press the Menu button to open the menu.

The Up and Down buttons may be used to select an item. Press down until Date Stamp is highlighted. Press OK to confirm.
3.
You can select your Date Stamp: 1) Off - Do not add the recorded Date & Time to images, 2) Date - Only add the recorded Date
to images, or 3) Date & Time - Add the recorded Date & Time to images. Confirm with the OK button.
4.
When finished, press the Menu button to close the menu.
DOWNLOADING FILES TO YOUR COMPUTER
You can download files to your computer by: 1) inserting the memory card into a card reader or 2) by connecting the camera
to a computer using the supplied USB cable. If removing the memory card, turn the camera off first.

If using memory card reader, please read its instructions before use.
2.
If using supplied USB, connect the small USB connection to the camera's USB port and the large USB connection to your
computer's USB port. The camera's LED/Busy Light will turn on.

If a box shows up in Windows requesting an action, click "View files in Windows Explorer" or else go to My Computer and click
the "Removable Disc" icon.

Drag and drop the files from the camera to a location on your computer to download. Remove USB from computer and
camera when done.
