GENERAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Please read this instruction manual carefully before using the unit and keep it for future
reference. In case of transfer of the appliance, also give this instruction manual to the person
concerned.
WARNING
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed to
reduce the risk of fire, electric shock and personal injury.

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

1) General
1. Check if the electrical specifications of this appliance are compatible with your installation.
2. Unauthorized use and technical modifications could pose a risk of injury or even death.
3. This appliance can be used by children from 8 years of age and older and by people with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capacities or lack of experience and knowledge if they
have been supervised or instructed on how to use the appliance safely and understand the
risks involved
4. Children may not play with the appliance.
5. Cleaning and maintenance will not be done by children without supervision.
6. This appliance is designed for indoor use only.
7. Disconnect the electrical connection, separate the two cables so that they do not make
contact and incorporate it into the fixed wiring in accordance with the wiring regulations.
8. Never install the appliance in a room with a high degree of humidity.
9. Be careful when working near the rotating blades.
10. Never connect the fan to a power point but to the ceiling itself.
11. Disconnect power before connecting or repairing the fan.
12. Electrical wiring must be done in accordance with local regulations.
13. The fan must be properly grounded to avoid risk of electric shock.
2) Electrical safety
1. The appliance must only be installed by a licensed electrician and in accordance with
national wiring regulations
3) Specific safety rules
1. The fan must be installed by a qualified electrician in accordance with local, regional, and
state electrical standards. Any modification or addition to the electrical circuit of the room
where the fan will be installed must be certified by an electrician with administrative authori-
zation.
2. The fan must be connected to a 230V AC 50Hz power supply.
3. All electrical work should be carried out after disconnecting the electrical power by remo-
ving the fuses or turning off the switch.
