11. Front speaker:
Audio is heard from this speaker by default, unless an external speaker is connected to the
connector (14) on the back of the transceiver.
12. Accessory socket:
Allows the use of a 2 pin KENWOOD wired accessory such as a hands-free headset.
When an accessory is connected the front speaker (11) will be muted and VOX mode can
be enabled (see page 5).
4.2.- REAR PANEL:
13. DC power socket:
Power cord input for 12 VDC (13.8 VDC) or 24 VDC connection.
14. [EXT SPK] jack:
This 3.5 mm jack is for connecting an external speaker (optional).
15. Antenna socket:
It is used for the connection of a CB-27 50 Ω antenna. See section 5.
