9. Do not insert or allow foreign objects to enter or block any ventilation or
exhaust opening as this may damage heater or cause burns, fire, electric
shock, personal injury or damage to property.
10. Do not use heater in or near areas where gasoline, paint, or any flammable
object, substance or material is used or stored.
11. Do not install heater closer than minimum clearances of two meters to any
surface.
12. Do not install heater less than minimum height of two meters from the floor
and/or carpet.
13. Servicing and cleaning should be done only while heater is disconnected
from the electricity supply circuit and heater has cooled down to room
temperature.
14. Heater must be electrically grounded/earthed and properly polarized before
use. Connect only to a properly grounded/earthed and polarized electricity
power outlet.
15. Install, locate and use this heater only in accordance with the installation
instructions described in this Manual.
16. There is a danger of electrical shock when servicing or repairing this heater.
Do not attempt to service or repair this heater. This heater should be
serviced or repaired only by duly qualified and experienced electrical
technician.
17. Do not touch heater when you are wet.
18. Do not cover or store any object, substance or matter on top of heater while
in use.
19. Do not immerse any part of heater in water and/or any other liquid.
20. Do not immerse cord and/or plug in water and/or any other liquid.
21. Keep cord and/or plug away the top of heater and from heated surface.
22. Do not let cord hang on top of heater when heater is operating.
23. When cleaning heater, use only water with a sponge or soft cloth. Avoid
operating heater at any time when any part of the heater is not completely
dry to reduce the risk of burns, fire, electric shock, personal injury or
damage to property
24. Do not remove or attempt to repair the heating element.
25. Never use sharp-edge utensils or objects near heater.
26. Heater needs frequent checkups and cleaning. Dirty or neglected heater is a
fire hazard.
27. Never cover the cord with carpeting and furniture. This could cause the cord
to overheat and may start a fire. If the cord is damaged, it must be replaced
by duly qualified and experienced electrical technician.
28. Do not touch or place hand in front of the heating element while it is
working to avoid getting burned.
29. The electric power system must be able to carry a minimum of 16-amp 220-
240V circuit for an EPT800 series heater and the electric power outlet must
