slight inattention may result in severe and serious injuries.
• Wear suitable personal protective equipment and safety goggles. By wearing personal safety equipment
such as e.g. dust masks, anti-skid safety shoes, a helmet and hearing protection the risk of accidents and
injury is drastically reduced.
• Avoid starting the tool by mistake or by accident. Make sure that the device is disconnected from the
compressed air supply after use and in order to transport it.
• Before connecting and using the device, check if all connections (in particular screws and nuts) of the
device and hoses are firmly seated in particular with regard to damages of the compressed air lines and
connection pieces.
• Before switching on the device remove any possibly used clamping and adjusting keys.
• Do not overstretch yourself or make sure to have a firm stand and a stable balance of your body in order to

Conditions for the supplied compressed air
• Connect the device to clean, dry air at a pressure which is not above the maximum working pressure
according to the technical data provided for this device. If higher pressure is applied, the durability of the
device is considerably reduced and moreover severe accidents might be caused.
• Connect the device to the compressed air by using supply lines, hoses and connections with prescribed
cross sections and sizes (refer to the illustration above).
• Do not directly mount any quick action coupling to the handle of the machine.
• In order to work properly with the device the compressor power must be at least 10% higher than the
indicated consumption of the compressed air tool.
• Please refer to the technical data of these instructions.
Operating instructions
• If an air control unit/reduction valve is connected, make sure that the working pressure applied to the
device is suitable for your application.
• The necessary accessory of the add-on parts must be firmly connected before connecting the compressed
air line to the device.
Lubrication
• Use a compressed air line oiler which is preset to two (2) drops of oil per minute. If you do not dispose of
such equipment, add special oil for compressed air tools in the air supply line once per day.
Safety instructions for machines operated with compressed air
• FÖRCH provides you tools for compressed air devices which allow you to work rapidly and safely.
• YOU YOURSELF are the most important safety factor for any kind of device.
• Your care and your estimation are the best protection against accidents. We are not able to list all possible
dangers here but we have tried to highlight the most important ones. This device and its add-on parts must
not be modified.
• Only qualified staff is allowed to use this device.
• Only deposit the tool when the rotating parts have come to a halt.
• Do not continue to operate the device when transporting it.
• Hold the tool always well and safe in your hand and position your body and arm in a way that you are able
to absorb any blowbacks which might occur when using the device.
• Keep your hands away from rotating parts. Also here blowbacks might occur.
• Immediately switch off the device in case of canting or blocking. Do not start the tool in any case as long as
it is blocked. First connect the compressed air line before you try to release the tool from canting. Check
the reason for the blocking and take corresponding corrective measures.
