• The pump is designed so all moving parts and the casing
allow for safe operation. The manufacturer is not responsible
for losses resulting from modifications of the device.
• Do not use the pump for liquids other than water, especially engine
fuels, cleaning liquids and other chemical products.
CAUTION! The design is assumed to be safe, protection measures
and additional safety systems are used, nevertheless there is
always a small risk of operational injuries.
CONSTRUCTION AND USE
Submersible water pump is a I protection class device designed for
pumping out clean water or dirty water containing particles with
maximum diameter of 20 mm. The pump is designed to operate
under water. When installed in appropriate well, it may be protection
against flooding. It is ideal for removing water from garages,
basements, tanks or excavations flooded with rain water. The pump
is designed to pump water at maximum temperature 350 C.
Special base is specific feature of the pump, it allows to pump out
the water down to 5 cm level. The pump features automated float
switch, which allows the pump to switch on and off by itself. It
protects against dry operation. Built-in vent valve allows easy water
suction.
Use the pump according to the manufacturer's instructions only.

PREPARATION FOR OPERATION

PUMP ASSEMBLY
There are two outlet holes in the pump base. When the connection
is attached, it is possible to connect 2" or 1½" diameter hose
(depending on your needs). Always use one of the holes for the
connection, while the other must be secured with blanking plug (6).
• Attach appropriate connection (4) by screwing it into hole in the
pump base.
• Screw connector pipe (5) onto attached connection (4).
• Join water hose and connector pipe (5).
PUMP INSTALLATION
Do not use the pump in a position, when it is not supported, but
hung on water hose or power supply cable.
Submersible pump should be hung on properly constructed
support, hung on a cord or placed at the bottom of a well. Keep
bottom of the well clean and free from sludge to ensure proper
operation of the pump.
Float switch is adjusted so the pump can be switched on immediately,
when the water level exceeds 50 cm.
You can install the pump:
- to stiff pipes of a system for stationary use,
- to flexible hoses of a system.
STATIONARY PUMP INSTALLATION
• The pump must be placed on an even surface in the bottom of a
well or a tank.
• To enable appropriate operation and maintenance of the pump
in safe conditions, observe minimum required spacing between
walls and other elements when placing the pump.
• It is recommended to use pipes and connectors of the same size in
the whole water system.
• It is recommended to use non-return valve behind connector pipe
of the pump.
Dimensions of well for the pump should be minimum
65 x 65 x 50 cm so the float switch can move there freely.
CONNECTING TO ELECTRICAL POWER SUPPLY
Submersible pump is equipped with breakdown resistant plug. In
accordance with valid regulations, the pump allows connecting
to safe socket of power network with parameters: 230 V AC, 50
Hz. Connect the plug of the power cable only to mains socket
with protective prong that is connected to electrical circuit with
residual current protection IΔn < 30mA or IΔn = 30mA.
In case the power cable or its plug are damaged, it is forbidden
to repair those parts by one's own means. Entrust repair of power
cord and the plug only to a qualified person. Only original parts
should be used.

OPERATION / SETTINGS

SWITCHING ON / SWITCHING OFF
Before connecting the pump to a power supply network, always
check that mains voltage matches the voltage shown on the rating
plate that is fixed to the pump, and that switch is in the off position.
CHECKING SETTINGS OF THE PUMP SWITCHING ON/OFF
Float switch controls switching the pump on and off. Before starting
the pump, check the following:
• Float switch should be installed so it can easily access triggering
levels (on and off ) with little force. To check, place the pump in
a vessel filled with water. Lift the float switch (2) manually, next
lower it. Doing so, note positions when the pump switches on and
off (fig. A and B).
• Ensure the connection between the float switch and the pump is
free to move and distance between the float switch and the pump
is not too small. When the distance is too small the switch, and the
pump as well, may operate improperly.
• The last thing to check is that the float switch does not reach the
bottom before the pump switches off. Such setting may cause the
pump to work dry.
When the water surface drops below defined level the pump will
switch off automatically, and when the water surface goes up and
exceeds approximately 50 cm, the pump will start operation. Thanks
to the sensor, which detects drop of water level, the pump stops as
soon as the tank is emptied.
PRIOR TO OPERATION
You can start using the pump after reading this manual carefully and
following below recommendations:
• Ensure the pump is suspended appropriately or is in stable
position on the bottom of a well.
• Ensure the pressure conduit (at the pump outlet) is connected
properly.
• Ensure the power supply parameters are 230 V AC, 50 Hz.
• Ensure the mains socket is in good technical condition.
• Ensure there is no possibility the pump operates dry.
