Plug-in power supply unit
The plug-in power supply unit serves as an isolator. To disconnect the device from the power
supply, unplug the plug-in power supply unit. The power socket must therefore be near the
device and freely accessible at all times. Operation requires a max. fuse rating (on site) of 16 A
(US, CA: max. 20 A) for the socket.

Isolators for non-earthed conductors
■ Install an isolator in the power cable to provide omnipolar separation from the mains for all ac-
tive conductors, corresponding to overvoltage category III (3 mm) for full isolation. The isolator
must be fitted in the permanent electrical installation, in line with installation requirements.
■ We also recommend installing an AC/DC-sensitive RCD, type B
that can occur with energy efficient equipment.
