BEFORE FIRST USE
• Remove all packaging and adhesives
from the inside and outside of the pro-
duct (Fig. 1).
• Clean the surfaces of the hot plates with
a damp cloth, and dry them with a dry
cloth or paper towel (Fig. 2).
• Grease the plates with a small amount of
cooking oil, butter, margarine or fat.
• Follow the instructions in the "Recom-
mendations for Use" booklet, plug in and
turn on the sandwich maker to heat the
plates.
RECOMMENDATIONS FOR USE
• To turn on the appliance, insert the plug
into a socket that is compatible with the
appliance's voltage 127V. The red light
will turn on automatically, and the plates
will start to heat up.
• Gently close the lid until the plates meet,
and the clip locks (you will hear a "click").
The clip will self-adjust to the size of the
sandwich. (Fig. 3).
• When the appliance reaches the ideal tem-
perature, the green light turns on (Fig. 4).
• Open the lid, and carefully position the
sandwiches to start the cooking process
(Fig. 5).
• Close the lid and wait until the sandwich
is toasted to your taste. The longer the
lid is closed, the more toasted the bread
will be.
• Unplug the appliance to disconnect it
when you are done.
