digital thermostat
It provides a type 1B actions and it is designed for household and similar use with overvoltage
category III (EN 61010-1) and normal pollution level (EN 60730-1).
SAFETY WARNINGS
During product installation and operation, the following safety instructions should be

1) The appliance should only be installed by technical person support
2) Take out power supply during product installation
3) Do not power or connect the instrument if any part of it is damaged
4) Follow the connection diagrams descripted on this manual and over the product

OPERATION
• In starting phase, the red LED flasheses twice for some
seconds (switching on- sequence).
• At the end of the switching on-sequence, the green LED
signal normal device operation and the red LED relay
status (light on = relay ON).
• The remote control (relay commutation ON/OFF) request
from Klio digital thermostat and Athena programmable
thermostat take place only after channel setting-up.
• The radio connection break down for more than 15
minutes between the transmitter and the receiver
disconnects the relay and the red LED lightened. Restore
of operations is automatic.
CHANNEL SETTING-UP
• During normal operation, press the SET key-button for almost three seconds to enter in modality-
configuration. Green LED switch-off, red LED flash.
• The appliance keep on modality-configuration for a maximum of 60 seconds within the actuator
should receive a string configuration (see Athena and/or Klio instructions for string start-up
modality).
• On receipt of string, channel is setted-up and the actuator is on standard functioning.
• For re-setting up, repeating the procedure.
• To reset channel setting-up, plug into configuration modality with SET button, then push the same
one for three seconds and wait for green led switching on. A new channel setting up cancels the
previous configuration.

Der ferngesteuerte Aktor RX1-8A ist ein Gerät mit unabhängiger Montage zur automatischen
Steuerung für Heiz- und Klimaanlagen, konzipiert, um die Signale des Uhrenthermostats
Athena und des Thermostats Klio zu empfangen.
Das Gerät führt Aktionen Klasse 1B aus und ist für den Gebrauch im Haushalt und ähnliche
Bereiche geeignet und verfügt über Überspannungskategorie III (EN 61010-1) und normale
Verschmutzungsklasse (EN 60730-1).
SICHERHEITSHINWEISE
Bei Installation und Betrieb des Produktes müssen nachstehende Instruktionen
befolgt werden:
1) Das Produkt muss von qualifiziertem Personal installiert werden.
2) Während der Installation des Produktes schalten Sie bitte den Strom ab.
3) Das Produkt nicht anschließen oder einschalten, wenn eines seiner Teile
beschädigt ist.
4) Das Produkt gemäß Schaltplänen anschließen, die in diesem Manual angegeben
oder dem Gerät beigefügt sind.

• Beim Einschalten blinkt die rote LED 2-mal eine
halbe Sekunde lang (Einschaltsequenz).
• Wenn die Einschaltsequenz beendet ist, leuchtet

die grüne LED, um den normalen Betrieb des
Gerätes anzuzeigen, sowie die rote LED, um den
Zustand des entsprechenden Kanals anzuzeigen
(eingeschaltet = ON).
• Die vom Thermostat Klio oder vom
Uhrenthermostat Athena angeforderte Aktion
(Umschalten ON/OFF der Relais) kann erst
nach Konfiguration des entsprechenden Kanals
ausgeführt werden.
• Eine Funkunterbrechung für länger als 15 Minuten
zwischen Sender und Empfänger verursacht das
Ausschalten des Relais und das Blinken der roten LED. Die Wiederherstellung des Betriebs ist
automatisch.
KONFIGURATION DES KANALS
• Bei normalem Betrieb drücken sie Taste SET mindestens 3 Sekunden lang, um zum
Konfigurationsmodus überzugehen.
Bei diesem Modell ist die grüne LED ausgeschaltet und die rote LED blinkt.
• Das Gerät verbleibt in Konfigurationsmodus für höchstens 60 Sekunden, währenddessen der
Aktor eine Strangkonfiguration empfangen sollte (siehe Gebrauchsanleitung von Athena und/
oder Klio für die Übertragung des Strangs).
• Nach Empfang des Strangs ist der Kanal konfiguriert und der Aktor kehrt wieder zum
normalen Betrieb zurück.
• Um den Kanal erneut zu konfigurieren, wiederholen Sie die gleichen Schritte.
• Um die Konfiguration des Kanals zu löschen, rufen Sie den Konfigurationsmodus auf, wählen
Sie den Kanal mit Taste SET (die entsprechende rote LED blinkt), danach drücken Sie die Taste
SET mindestens 3 Sekunden lang, bis die grüne LED erneut leuchtet. Jede neue Konfiguration
löscht die vorherige.
