Updating the firmware

Two separate types of firmware can be updated to add functions
to this card.
Card firmware
Dante module firmware
Both firmware updates must be conducted separately.

about the latest firmware and update procedures.

Notes about Dante

Dante is a transmission protocol developed by Audinate. Using
networks based on gigabit Ethernet standards, it enables multi-
channel (512 IN/512 OUT) transmission and high precision, for
example.

This card includes a Dante module circuit board made by
Audinate.

Names and functions of parts

This card has two RJ-45 connectors that support gigabit Ethernet.
Use LAN cables to connect these connectors to other devices that
support Dante or a Dante network.

Rear panel

PRIMARY connector

This is the main Dante transmission connector.
Use this to connect to a Dante network all the time.
SECONDARY connector
2
This is the secondary Dante transmission connector. The use
changes depending on the mode.
When in redundant mode, this connects to the secondary
Dante network.
