Function Selector
• Be sure to use the function selector (A) only when the
motor is completely stopped.
WARNING
On no reason try to adjust the function
selector with the motor running, the tool could rotate
abruptly, causing unexpected accidents.
IMPACT - ROTATION (
WARNING
This function is intended for working
ONLY with drill bits and NOT with chisels or punches, as
the hammer could get stuck in the material and rotate
abruptly.
• Turn the function selector until the arrow points to the
drill/hammer figure (B).
• Mount the drill bit as shown on page 7.
• Hold the hammer drill firmly in both hands by the main
handle and the auxiliary handle, rest the tip of the bit on
the material to be worked and press the switch to start the
operation.
CAUTION
• It is not necessary to push hard on the
hammer drill when working, applying light pressure is
sufficient.
WARNING
• Although the hammer drill is equipped
with a safety clutch, if the bit were to become jammed in
the material and is not properly clamped with both hands
as instructed, it could rotate abruptly and strike the
operator.
IMPACT (

• Turn the function selector until the arrow points to the
hammer figure (C).
• Mount the attachment as shown on page 7.
• If you need to modify the chisel shaft:
- Turn the function selector until the arrow points to the
figure
as shown in the diagram (D).
- Manually turn the chisel to the desired position (F).
- Return the selector switch to the impact function
(
).
• Hold the rotary hammer firmly in both hands by the
main handle and the auxiliary handle, rest the chisel tip on
the material to be worked and press the switch to start the
operation.
